AXEM 2Some time ago I was contacted by a multitool manufacturer in Italy that was looking for better coverage in North America. They were a company called Steel Life and they had just released a new flagship tool they called the AXEM 4.0.

Lately you’ve probably gotten dozens of emails to update the privacy policies of various websites so that they comply with the new General Date Protection Regulations (GDPR) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Data_Protection_Regulation that everyone needs to comply with. We aren’t sending an email like that, nor am I asking you to agree to a new policy- and here’s why.

Fake or real Tread?

Tread 12Months ago I bought a fake Leatherman Tread in black for $50. Now I have a legitimate Leatherman Tread, also in black, and while I paid considerably less than the $312.00 price tag on it, you can rest assured that it was still several times as much as the fake. But, it's worth it for the real thing, right? After all, the Leatherman brand is built in the USA and quality is the defining factor, while the knockoff is.... well, it's a cheap hunk of China made crap, right? Let's find out.
